Heat a splash of oil in a medium pan over medium-high heat. Add the burgers and cook for about 15 minutes, flipping regularly until browned on both sides. Top each burger with a slice of cheese. To melt the cheese, either place the burgers in the oven for 3 minutes or cover the pan with a lid and add a splash of water to create steam, which will take about 1 minute. While the cheese melts, toast the burger buns in the oven for 2 minutes or until golden.

Toast the burger buns in the oven for about 2 minutes, or until golden. Assemble your burger by layering the bun, patty, melted cheese, sauce, pickles, onion, and lettuce. Serve with potatoes on the side for a complete meal.
