'STEAK' & MANGO PEANUT BOWL
1. Bring 1 cup of water, rice, and a pinch of salt to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to a simmer, cover, and let cook for approximately 12 minutes.
2. Prepare your vegetables by cutting them as shown. Combine your green onion, shallot, cilantro, and jalapeΓ±o in a bowl with the juice of half a lime.
4. Heat a saucepan with 1 tbsp of oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the 'steak' and marinade. Let cook for 8-10 minutes, constantly stirring until the sauce has thickened and the 'steak' has started to brown around the edges.
5. Assemble your bowl with rice at the bottom, followed by mango, 'steak', and your veggie mix. Drizzle the peanut sauce over the top. Garnish with crushed peanuts, black & white sesame seeds, and a squeeze of lime.
