Why is my gnocchi in plastic?
If we were to open each bag and transfer it to paper it would have been wasting paper bags as there is no other option in receiving bulk portions (probably due to not allowing it dry) so we thought although it seems like more waste it is actually less overall!
Hope that makes sense! We are always open to input or new ideas!
Bring a large pot of water + a pinch of salt up to a boil. Once boiling add in your gnocchi and let cook for ~4 minutes or until the pasta rises to the surface of the water. Once done strain and set aside.
*** before you strain keep 1/3 cup of pasta water for later use**
Remove your veggies and cut as shown below.
Bring a large pan with a splash of oil up to medium high heat. Once hot add in your mushroom and asparagus and cook for ~7 minutes, there should start to be some nice browning. Add in your cooked gnocchi and let cook for 2-3 minutes then add your sauce + 1/3 pasta water(if you for got it is ok just add 1/4 cup regular water. Stir constantly until the sauce has thickened up and is sticking to the pasta, 5-7 minutes. Add in half your parsley and give one nice stir right before plating.
Plate your pasta and garnish with your parsley, salt & pepper and olive oil. ENJOY 😊🌸🌿
