      Philly Cheesesteak


      STEP 1

      Preheat oven to 400 F



      STEP 2

      Remove veggies and cut as shown below.

      Note: Our supplier was short on oyster mushrooms so we substituted with a larger quantity of cremini mushrooms. We apologize for the inconvenience.

      STEP 3

      Toss your potatoes in a splash of oil, the potato seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Transfer to a lined baking sheet and roast in the oven for approximately 20 minutes. 

      STEP 4

      Bring a large pan with a large splash of oil up to medium-high heat. Once hot, add in your mushrooms and onions and let cook for ~ 7 minutes or until they are evenly browned. Next, add in your green pepper and cook for 5 minutes. Finally, add in your mustard mayo (reserving a dollop to dip your potatoes) and mix well into your veggies. Let everything cook together for 2 minutes.

      Turn the temperature down to a medium heat. You then want to divide the pan contents into two even piles and top with your cheese slices (as pictured below).  Add your hoagie open faced on top to help melt the cheese and and soften the bread.  After approximately 5 minutes, use a spatula to remove each sandwich from the pan, flipping so it sits open face on your plate. Anything that falls out can be added back into the sandwich or mixed in with your roasted potatoes.
